Steimazky - Chain Bookstore Retail

Moved to a chain bookstore role for more flexible shifts and lighter day-to-day physical demands, while continuing customer-facing retail work.

2023 - 2024

After returning to bookstore work for several years, I later moved to Steimazky for a simpler reason: the role offered more flexibility in scheduling and was less physically intensive overall.

It was chain-store retail rather than a family-run second-hand shop, so the work felt more standardized. That tradeoff suited what I needed at the time. The pay was lower, but I was comfortable with that because I was only working three to four days a week.

This role belongs here because it rounds out the retail side of the work history. It was less about rebuilding sections or taking on odd operational problems, and more about steady customer-facing work in a more structured store environment.
